About
Small steps, every day.
ShiroCode is a calm place to learn programming on your phone or in your browser.
Why we built it
Most coding courses are either long videos or walls of text. We wanted something you can open on the bus: one idea, a little code you can run, a few questions, done. Then the app brings it back right before you would forget it.
What makes it different
- Every option explained. When you pick a wrong answer, you see why it is wrong, not just that it is.
- Checked by running. Outputs in questions and review templates come from actually running the code.
- Real programs. 285 coding challenges are checked against tests, not multiple choice.
Shiro
Shiro means white in Japanese. The apps are deliberately quiet and monochrome so the code is what stands out. ShiroCode has a sibling, ShiroStudy, which turns your own notes into flashcards and quizzes.
